氯化没食子酸是一种合成蓝色染料,通过破坏DKK1/LRP6的相互作用来阻断DKK1的抑制活性。其与LRP6的关联较弱(抑制DKK1结合的IC50约为3μM)。Gallocyanine染料是研究阿尔茨海默病和相关神经退行性tau病的潜在药物[1]。

将75g没食子酸、35g对亚硝基二甲基苯胺的盐酸和850g甲醇混合。回流沸腾，并在4h中分批加入85g对亚硝基二甲苯胺盐酸盐，继续沸腾，直至反应液滴在滤纸上产生不带黄色边缘的深紫色斑点，然后蒸馏除去甲醇，将产物与水一起煮沸，过滤而得棓花青。
