将溴滴加到异丁酸和红磷的混合物中，在100℃反应6h，减压蒸出未反应的溴和溴化氢。冷却，分去亚磷酸，得2-溴代异丁酰溴粗品。粗品经减压分馏，收集91-98℃（13.3kPa）馏分，即为成品。
