1.制法：

于装有搅拌器、温度计的反应瓶中，加入氢氧化钠100g，水1000mL，95%的乙醇^①800mL，冰水浴冷却。剧烈搅拌下，加入一半体积的由新蒸馏的苯甲醛（2）106g（1mol）和丙酮29g（0.5mol）组成的混合液，保持反应温度在20～25℃。反应液很快生成黄色浑浊液，并有沉淀生成。约20min后加入另一半混合液，保持反应温度在20～25℃。反应液很快生成黄色浑浊液，并有沉淀生成。约20min后加入另一半混合液，剧烈搅拌反应0.5h。冰水浴冷却，抽滤，滤饼用蒸馏水充分洗涤，室温干燥至恒重，得粗品105～110g。用约2.5倍的乙酸乙酯重结晶，得1，5-二苯基-1,4-戊二烯-3-酮（1）85g，mp110～111℃，收率80%。注：①加入大量乙醇的目的是使苯甲醛完全溶解于反应体系中，使之称为均相反应，以加速反应的进行，有利于提高产品收率。
