3.制法：

于装有搅拌器、温度计、韦氏分馏柱的反应瓶中，加入甲酸铵126g（2.0mol），苯乙酮（2）72g（0.6mol），搅拌下油浴加热至150～155℃，开始发生反应^①。继续缓缓加热至185℃（约2h），这时不断有水和苯乙酮蒸出来。将馏出物中的苯乙酮分出，不必干燥，加到反应瓶中继续于185℃左右反应3h，生成中间体（3）。镏出液用甲苯提取回收苯乙酮。反应液中加入水75mL，分出有机层，水层以甲苯提取（20ml×2），合并有机层与甲苯提取液，加入75mL盐酸。蒸去甲苯，并煮沸40min，1-苯乙基甲酰胺水解成1-苯基乙胺盐酸盐。冷却，甲苯提取除去未反应的苯乙酮。水层加入65g氢氧化钠溶于125mL水配成的溶液，水蒸气蒸馏。蒸出约500mL时，绝大部分胺己蒸出来。用甲苯提取（30mL×5），提取液用固体氢氧化钠干燥，然后进行分馏，收集180～190℃的馏分，得DL-1-苯基乙胺（1）^②43g，收率59%。注：①该反应为Leukart反应，可能的机理如下。②工业上可由苯乙酮与氨，在Raney Ni存在下于150℃、24～35MPa压力下来合成DL-1-苯基乙胺，收率较高。
