[体外研究]

TMPD(N,N,N′,N′-四甲基对苯二胺)用于细胞培养和微生物学,以区分具有细胞色素c氧化酶活性的生物体,并区分革兰氏阴性和革兰氏阳性致病菌和非致病菌。微生物氧化TMPD的概念被广泛应用,被称为细菌氧化酶的一种成功的比色指示剂,因为氧化形成的自由基阳离子TMPD+˙呈现出特有的深蓝色。细菌氧化酶对TMPD氧化的电化学识别可应用于多种病原体[1]。
