摘要

a-Methylene-y-butyrolactones were prepared in high yields on treatment of N- monosubstituted 2-[(tri-butylstannyl) methyl] propenamides with aldehydes in the presence of a Lewis acid followed by acidic hydrolysis of the resulting y-hydroxy amides.
