用途： Bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV), also known BMOV is a Potent insulin mimetic. Bis(maltolato)oxovanadium(IV) normalizes glucose and lipid values and restores food and fluid intake to control levels in diabetic rats without increasing insulin levels (0.37 mmol/kg). It attenuates hyperinsulinemia and hypertension in spontaneously hypertensive rats. Its mechanism of action includes inhibition of PTP1B as well as other tyrosine phosphatases.
