1.靛蓝制备
食用靛蓝实际上是靛蓝二磺酸二钠,由靛蓝用浓硫酸磺化,磺化结束后用水稀释,再用纯碱中和,最后加入氯化钠盐析,经过滤、水洗、干燥得成品。 靛蓝铝色淀制备
由氯化铝、硫酸铝等的铝盐与碳酸钠等的碱类制取氢氧化铝,然后添加于靛蓝水溶液,沉淀而得产品。

2.用浓硫酸或与少量发烟硫酸合用,使靛蓝。磺化后,用水适量稀释,经碳酸钠或氢氧化钠中和,以硫酸钠或氯化钠盐析,再经精制而得。由靛蓝粉经浓硫酸磺化后,加水稀释,用碳酸钠中和,再经盐析,精制而得。每吨产品消耗靛蓝粉(100%)210kg。由双二甲基氨基二苯基甲醇与2-羟基萘-3,6-二磺酸,于浓硫酸存在下,失去一分子水缩合成无色母体,在弱酸溶液中用二氧化锰氧化成三芳基甲烷色素。
二苯基甲醇系由二氧化锰和硫酸氧化四烷基二氨基二苯基甲烷而得。可直接使用其离心分离的滤饼进行缩合。二氧化锰系由硫酸锰与高锰酸钾在碳酸钠溶液中新鲜制备而得。
