制备

Mn(Ⅱ)硒化物有三种晶型，α-MnSe具NaCl结构，可由硫酸锰(Ⅱ)、氯化锰(Ⅱ)或醋酸锰，在醋酸铵存在下与(NH4)2Se反应生成MnSe沉淀再经陈化而得到；β-MnSe，具闪锌矿结构，可将乙酸锰溶液在H2Se气氛中暴露数小时后而制得；γMnSe，具纤锌矿型结构，在沸腾的MnCl2或MnSO4溶液中，与H2Se和NH3反应而制得。β和γ两种晶型都不是稳定的，很容易转变为稳定的α晶型。但是，在低温下α-MnSe却转化为β-MnSe。

MnSe的生成热是-157.7kJ/mol。
