Abstract The Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling of 2-nitrodiazonium tetrafluoroborate salts with substituted boronic acids is an effective and efficient means of preparing highly functionalized 2-nitrobiphenyls in modest to excellent yield under extremely mild reaction conditions.
