Abstract

Abstract The reactions of polyfluoroaryl bromides Ar F Br or iodides Ar FI with P (NR′ 2) 3 and R 3 MX (R= alkyl; M= Si, Ge, Sn, and Pb; X= Cl, Br) led to the formation of Ar F MR 3. The reactions of C 6 F 5 Br with P (Net 2) 3 and C-electrophiles (CH 3 I, C 6 F 5 CF 3 and (CF 3) 2 C= CFC 2 F 5) gave the products of pentafluorophenylation of these substrates.
