Harmful if swallowed. Causes severe burns.Hygroscopic (absorbs moisture from the air).Air sensitive. Potential Health Effects Eye: Contact with liquid is corrosive to the eyes and causes severe burns. Skin: Contact with liquid is corrosive and causes severe burns and ulceration.
