Use of IM156Lixumistat (IM156) is a novel biguanide mitochondrial protein complex 1 inhibitor of oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) with anti-tumor activity. Lixumistat regulates OXPHOS to attenuate mitochondrial metabolic reprogramming and inhibit lung fibrosis. Lixumistat also suppresses B-cell activation to alleviate systemic lupus erythematosus[1][5]. |
