Use of DD-01050A potent, noncompetitive TRPV1 antagonist that abrogates capsaicin and pH-evoked TRPV1 channel activity with submicromolar activity; preferentially inhibits TRPV1, showing marginal block of other neuronal receptors; inhibits capsaicin-evoked nerve activity in afferent fibers without affecting mechanically activated activity, attenuates carrageenan-induced paw inflammation, without affecting normal nociception in vivo; also decreases the cells in S/G2/M phases in prostate PC3 cells. |
