主要用于合成丁苯吡胶乳,也用于制造克矽平、倍他定盐酸盐等药物
【用途二】
该品与丁二烯、苯乙烯共聚可制成乙烯基吡啶改性的胶乳,也用于粘结剂。聚2-乙烯吡啶氧化得到防治矽肺病的药物克矽平;该品也是血管扩张药培他啶盐酸盐的中间体。还用于照相底片消晕层及高分子电解质。

2-乙烯基吡啶制备
1、由2-羟乙基吡啶脱水而得。
2、由2-甲基吡啶与甲醛反应 配料比为2-甲基吡啶:甲醛:氢氯化钠溶液(50%)=1:0.4:0.1。将2-甲基吡啶和甲醛混合均匀,经柱塞泵打入管道反应器,控制流量使反应液停留时间为8min,保持压力9.08MPa,温度250℃±2℃,进行加成反应,得3-羟乙基吡啶溶液,收率30%。由所得的2-羟乙基吡啶溶液回收未反应的2-甲基吡啶,加入50%氢氧化钠溶液洗涤,精馏后套用。剩余液中加入50%氢氧化钠溶液,加热回流脱水,然后减压蒸馏,收集70℃(8.0kpa)以上馏分,得粗品2-乙烯基吡啶;当温度达160℃时停止收集,再进行精馏,收集70℃(2.67kpa)以上馏分,即得2-乙烯基吡啶精品,收率30%,气相层析测含量在98%以上。
