广泛用作不饱和聚酯和硅橡胶的交联剂、单体的聚合引发剂、聚丙烯改性剂、橡胶硫化剂等
【用途二】
用作不饱和聚酯和硅橡胶的交联剂,还用作聚合引发剂。理论活性氧量10.94%,活化能146.9kJ/mol,半衰期218h(100℃)、34h(115℃)、0.15h(130℃)。
本品与还原剂接触或受冲击会爆炸。闪点18℃,易燃,其蒸气和空气混合形成爆炸混合物。能刺激眼睛、皮肤和呼吸道。

二叔丁基过氧化物制备
1.将222g叔丁醇和140g 70%的硫酸加入搪瓷反应釜,搅拌混合并冷却至2~-8℃。在激烈搅拌下,于90min内滴加入126g 27%的过氧化氢和400g浓硫酸,加完后继续搅拌3h。静置分出油层,用60ml水洗,再用30%的氢氧化钠溶液洗除叔丁基过氧化氢,最后再用水洗。加硫酸镁干燥、过滤得成品。
2.制法:
于装有搅拌器、温度计、滴液漏斗的反应瓶中,加入叔丁醇(2)222g(3.0mol),70%的硫酸140g,搅拌下冷却至-2~-8℃。慢慢滴加27%的过氧化氢126g(1.0mol)和400g浓硫酸(4.0mol),约1.5g加完。加完后继续搅拌反应3h。分出油层,水洗,再用30%的氢氧化钠溶液洗去叔丁基过氧化氢,而后水洗,无水硫酸镁干燥,过滤,得过氧化二叔丁基①(1)。注:①理论活性氧含量10.94%。与还原剂接触或受到撞击会爆炸。制备和使用时应注意安全。
