盐酸福美吡唑(4-甲基吡唑)是一种有效的细胞色素P450(CYP2E1)抑制剂。盐酸福美吡唑是乙醇脱氢酶的竞争性抑制剂。盐酸福美吡唑阻止甲醇和乙二醇进一步转化为有毒代谢物。盐酸福美吡唑有可能成为乙二醇或甲醇中毒的解毒剂[1][2][3]。

[体内研究]

福美吡唑(4-甲基吡唑；25 mg/kg；IP)预处理延长了CD-1小鼠的乙醇神经行为毒性[4]动物模型：体重18-25 g的雄性CD-1鼠[4]剂量：25 mg/kg给药：IP；单次给药结果：减少乙醇剂量(1-5g/kg；IP),在该剂量下,50%的动物未通过特定结果试验(毒性剂量50；TD50)。
