主要分两条路线。
①在碘化钾的存在下,氯代癸烷与甲胺反应,先制得双癸基甲基叔胺,再将双癸基甲基叔胺放在压力内,在水和异丙醇介质中,加热加压下同氯甲烷反应,制得氯化双癸基二甲基铵产品。反应式如下:
②在催化剂的存在下,由正癸醇与氢气和甲胺混合气体进行胺化反应,先制得双癸基甲基叔胺。再在压力釜中加入双癸基甲基叔胺、少量碳酸钠和适量异丙醇,用氮气置换空气后,升温至80~90℃,通入氯甲烷,压力0.3~0.5MPa,反应3~4h即得氯化双癸基二甲基铵产品。反应式如下:
