钴合成路线

钴上下游产品

钴制备

主要钴矿有辉钴矿、砷钴矿。先将钴矿转化为氧化钴,然后用铝还原制取钴。

1.将粉末状氧化钴放置于平置的石英管中,管外用管式电炉加热,先用氢气将管内空气排除,然后在不断通入氢气的情况下开始升温,还原反应在约150℃时即可发生,在温度为450~500℃时进行还原反应,可制得稳定的粉末状钴。而在250℃进行反应生成的钴粉具有自燃性,在900~1000℃则得到的是海绵状钴。

也可用铝热法来制备块状钴,四氧化三钴与铝粉按下列反应方程式进行。称取30~50g Co3O4和反应所需的铝粉,混合均匀后置于坩埚中,以镁条引燃反应,反应进行得很剧烈。反应完成后除去上部的氧化铝渣即可得到块状钴。

2.用电解法可以制得较纯的金属钴,电解液为接近饱和的硫酸钴(Ⅱ)溶液,阳极以纯铅制成,阴极材料为不锈钢板,阴极预先用粗金刚砂纸处理,使其粗糙不平,然后放入75%的硝酸溶液中进行钝化。电解反应在60℃下进行,阴极的电流密度控制为25~30A/dm2。钴在阴极上析出,电解一段时间后即可从阴极上将生成的钴剥离下来。
