【用途一】
是制造有机磷农药杀虫脒的原料。用于生产磷酸二苯-异辛酯、磷酸三乙酯等磷酸酯及生产塑料增塑剂。用于长效磺胺药品的氯化反应。生产染料中间体、有机合成的氯化剂和催化剂,铀矿提取剂。
【用途二】
三氯氧磷俗名氧氯化磷,在有机磷农药合成中主要用于合成另一类含磷中间体——磷酰氯或磷酰二氯,如合成O,O-二乙基磷酰氯,进而合成农药乙基硫环磷,或合成O-乙基磷酰二氯,进而合成农药灭线磷等。在其他方面,三氯氧磷可作为氯化剂、催化剂、塑料增塑剂、染料中间体等,也用于制药工业和有机合成。
【用途三】
用作半导体掺杂剂,并为光导纤维原料。
【用途四】

三氯氧磷制备

1.以三氯化磷为原料进行氧化,若采用不同的氧化剂则有多种不同的制备方法。工业上主要采用氯化水解法,即将三氯化磷加入反应器中,通入氯气,同时滴加水,控制一定的氯水比和通氯、滴水速度,用夹套蒸汽加热至105~109℃,使反应器内反应物气化,经冷凝器冷凝后再回流入反应器中。二次通入氯气,继续氯化残存的三氯化磷。回流至反应物色泽洁白、三氯化磷残存量在0.2%以下时,可由冷凝器导出作为三氯氧磷成品。

反应生成的氯化氢气体经水吸收生成稀盐酸。此外,也可通过将干燥的氧气通入三氯化磷,或由五氧化二磷与五氯化磷作用,或用氯气和二氧化硫作氧化剂等方法得到三氯氧磷。

2.在一只装有回流冷凝器的250mL三颈圆底烧瓶中放入100g PCl3,然后一份份(每份不大于0.5~1g的剂量)地加入33g磨细的KClO3,并且在前一份KClO3加入后所引起的剧烈反应停止后,才能加另一份。反应结束后(当最后几份不起作用时),取下冷凝管,改成蒸馏装置进行蒸馏,收集105~108℃间的馏分。

3.以试剂级三氯氧磷为原料,加入石英蒸馏设备中进行精馏精制,制得高纯三氯氧磷成品。

4.在装有三氯化磷的反应器中同时通入氯气和加入水,并控制Cl2:H2O =3.94∶ 1,通氯气速度为25~35kg/h,加水 速 度 为 6.25~8.8kg/h,反应如下:

用蒸汽加热至105~109℃,汽化后全部冷凝流回反应器,第二次通入氯气,加热回流至三氯化磷含量小于2%,收集105~109℃馏分,即为三氯氧磷。
