  • Diethylene glycol (DEG) is an organic compound with the formula (HOCH2CH2)2O. It is a colorless, practically odorless, poisonous, and hygroscopic liquid with a sweetish taste. It is miscible in water, alcohol, ether, acetone, and ethylene glycol. DEG is a widely used solvent.

第六部分:泄漏应急处理
应急处理: 迅速撤离泄漏污染区人员至安全区,并进行隔离,严格限制出入。切断火源。建议应急处理人员戴自吸过滤式防毒面具(全面罩),穿防毒服。尽可能切断泄漏源。防止流入下水道、排洪沟等限制性空间。小量泄漏:用砂土、蛭石或其它惰性材料吸收。也可以用大量水冲洗,洗水稀释后放入废水系统。大量泄漏:构筑围堤或挖坑收容。用泵转移至槽车或专用收集器内,回收或运至废物处理场所处置。

毒理学数据:

1、刺激性:兔子经皮:500mg 轻度刺激。

兔子经眼:50mg 轻度刺激。

2、急性毒性:大鼠经口LD50:12565mg/kg;兔子经皮LD50:11890mg/kg

3、属微毒类。可经皮吸收,对皮肤黏膜刺激小。与乙二醇相似对中枢神经系统有抑制作用。能引起肾脏病理改变及尿路结石。人一次口服致死量估计为1mL/kg。服用二甘醇后约24小时出现恶心、呕吐、腹痛、腹泻等肠胃道症状。致死者随之出现头痛、肾区疼痛、一时性多尿然后少尿、嗜睡、面部轻度浮肿等。无尿发生后2~7日内昏迷而死。故本品应禁作药用,避免长期与皮肤接触。
