描述 5β-Dihydrocortisol,氢化可的松 (Cortisol) 的代谢产物,是潜在的盐皮质激素。5β-Dihydrocortisol 可以增强糖皮质激素的活性以提高眼压。5β-Dihydrocortisol 可引起乳腺癌细胞凋亡。

体外研究 5β-二氢皮质醇(10-100μ米;48小时)抑制MCF-7细胞的活性,IC50为27.59μM[2]。5β-二氢皮质醇(14μ米;24h)诱导MCF-7细胞早期凋亡率为35.6%,晚期凋亡率为2.5%。5β-二氢皮质醇(1-10μ米;48小时)猝灭人血清白蛋白(HAS)的固有荧光,在360 nm处有一个最大发射峰,荧光峰没有移动[2]。细胞活力测定[2]细胞系:MCF-7和hek293细胞浓度:10、20、40、60、80、100μM孵育时间:48h结果:MCF-7细胞的存活率呈剂量依赖性抑制。HEK293细胞株对细胞活力无明显毒性。凋亡分析[2]细胞系:MCF-7细胞浓度:14μM孵育时间:24h结果:诱导早期和晚期细胞凋亡率分别为35.6%和2.5%。
体内研究 5β-二氢皮质醇(0.1-1.0%;18d)增强局部应用地塞米松(0.06%)提高幼兔眼压的作用[3]。
