Use of (±)-cis-N-Boc-2-fluorocyclohexylamineDescription The incorporation of fluorine in agrochemical and pharmaceutical compounds is of high interest due to the ability to fine-tune the polarity, pKA-value, conformation and metabolic stability. Derived from acis-selective hydrogenation developed by Glorius and coworkers, this fluorinated compound displays a diverse utility as a building block for chemical synthesis. Fluoro-cyclohexaneamine allows for the straightforward application in organic synthesis, after simple deprotection. It has been shown, that this compound can be used for the preparation of fluorinated analogs of Lomustine and Bromhexine.
