为铜、铅、辉锑等硫化矿的优良捕收剂，也可作橡胶硫化促进剂
【用途二】
铜的显色反应，比色测定中提取少量重金属如铜、镉、钒、镍和钴。生物学上阻止巨噬细胞NO的合成的诱导。用作天然橡胶、丁苯橡胶、丁腈橡胶、氯丁橡胶的硫化促进剂。
