用四氯化硅与醋酸酐反应即得四醋酸硅。

反应装置如图所示,将255g(1.5mol)四氯化硅放入1L的三颈圆底烧瓶中,在电磁搅拌下,由滴液漏斗滴入704g(69mol过量15%)乙酸酐。反应装置应以无水氯化钙干燥管隔绝潮气,在反应过程中吸液玻璃管应在较高位置。

以不触及反应液为好,应关闭活塞3。

四氯化硅和醋酸酐的反应为放热反应,反应后反应混合物带色,并开始析出四醋酸硅的晶体,完成反应后将反应物放置数日,再用干冰丙酮浴冷却后,打开活塞3,通过管2将上层清液(含乙酰氯和醋酸酐)吸入抽滤瓶4。四醋酸硅粗品用100mL醋酸酐重结晶,用回流装置,在电热套上加热至100℃,再冰浴冷至0℃使其结晶完全,滤集晶体再如法重结晶,醋酸酐用75mL,精制的四醋酸硅在室温下晾干或真空干燥,再在100℃下干燥数小时,即得产品约335g,产率84.5%。
