Abstract

Abstract A number of bis (phenylethynyl)-substituted anthracenes and naphthacenes have been synthesized and their suitability as fluorescent additives for peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence evaluated. Fluorescence and chemiluminescence emission data for all compounds are presented.
