PTP1B-IN-5b is a potent protein tyrosine phosphatase PTP1B inhibitor with IC50 of 5.25 uM; shows remarkable cytotoxic activity at 0.09 uM of IC50 against the MCF-7 cell line; also showed potential anticancer activity against MCF-7 (IC50=2.22 uM) and HepG2 (IC50=0.72 uM) cell lines as well as PTP1B inhibitory activity with IC50 of 6.37 uM.
