In Vivo | Stachyose (oral gavage; 200 mg/kg; 17 days) combines with Berberine (100 mg/kg) produces better hypoglycemic effects than berberine alone. stachyose alone does not decrease the glycaemia of diabetic db/db mice. Additonally, the expression of mucin‐2 is decreased in the Sta + BBR and Sta groups, with a decrease of 2.4% and 2.1%, respectively; and no change is found in the BBR group[1]. |
