 Use of Myostatin-IN-1

Myostatin-IN-1 is a potent myostatin inhibitor (IC50 of 0.19, 0.63, 0.89 and 1.6 μM for myostatin, GDF-11, activin A and TGF-β1, respectively). Myostatin-IN-1 increases the tibialis anterior muscle mass in mice. Myostatin-IN-1 can be used for researching the prolonged inactivation of myostatin in skeletal muscle[1].

In Vitro Myostatin-IN-1 (MID-35) (50 µM; 400 min) possesses complete proteolytic stability, and can survive 99 and 97% of the intact form incubated for 400 min in trypsin or α-chymotrypsin solution[1].
In Vivo Myostatin-IN-1 (0.75 mM; i.m.; single) can significantly induce the increase in tibialis anterior (TA) muscle mass in C57BL/6J mice[1]. Animal Model: C57BL/6J mice (8 weeks)[1] Dosage: 0.75 mM Administration: i.m.; single Result: Significantly induced the increase in tibialis anterior (TA) muscle mass in C57BL/6J mice.
