1.将金鸡纳树的树皮或根皮去杂,干燥,粉碎后与碱石灰混合均匀。再用石油醚反复抽提,合并提取液,澄清后加入稀硫酸萃取,酸层浓缩结晶后便得硫酸奎宁。制成品有酸性硫酸奎宁和中性硫酸奎宁两种存在形式。酸性硫酸奎宁是一分子硫酸与一分子奎宁所形成的盐,其水溶性好且水溶液呈酸性。中性硫酸奎宁是两分子奎宁与一分硫酸所形成的盐,其水溶液呈中性但水溶性较差。医药常用的是酸性硫酸奎宁。
