2-溴十六烷酸(2-溴代丙酸)可以转化为2-溴棕榈酸(2-BP)。2-BP是一种针对DHHC(Asp-His-His-Cys)蛋白棕榈酰转移酶的棕榈酰化抑制剂。2-BP在pyroptosis过程中抑制GSDME-C的棕榈酰化,并抑制BAK/BAX-Caspase3-GSDME途径介导的pyroptosis[1]。

棕榈酰化促进 GSDME-N在切割后释放 GSDME-C,2-BP抑制棕榈酰化过程,而抑制 GSDME-C的修饰,增加了 GSDME-C和 GSDME-N之间的相互作用。2-BP抑制 TNFa+CHX诱导的细胞凋亡,但不抑制细胞总死亡[1]
