电子工业用作绝缘材料,也用作光学玻璃处理及凝结剂
【用途三】
用于精密铸造,作为砂型的粘结剂;用硅酸乙酯蒸气处理的金属表面可防腐防水。硅酸乙酯可用来对金属表面渗硅,处理光学玻璃可提高透光度;完全水解后产生的极细氧化硅粉可用于制造荧光粉。硅酸乙酯是有机硅油的原料。硅酸乙酯还可用于制造耐热、耐化学品的涂料。在日本,90%的硅酸乙酯用作防腐蚀涂料(富锌漆)的基料。

正硅酸乙酯制备

1.在配有回流冷凝器、机械搅拌器和滴液漏斗的1000mL三口烧瓶中,加入85g(0.5mol)四氯化硅,200mL乙醚,置于冰浴中冷却。在搅拌下滴加92g(2mol)无水乙醇。加完后在水浴上加热回流2h。冷却后,加入乙醇钠中和至中性,然后在水浴上先蒸出乙醚后,进行分馏,得产品原硅酸四乙酯88g,产率85%。

2.制法 四氯化硅与无水乙醇在常温常压下酯化,蒸馏脱去HCL ,经冷却、中和、精馏即得成品:
