【方法一】
将α-甲基吡啶及苯加入反应锅,搅拌下加入氯霉素,保持32-37℃,滴加棕榈酰氯。加毕,继续搅拌4h,加至15倍水中,析出粗品。粗品经洗涤、脱色、重结晶,即得无味氯霉素。
