Use of JH-VIII-49JH-VIII-49 is a potent and selective inhibitor of CDK8 with IC50 of 16 nM, also inhibits CDK19 (IC50=8 nM); displays excellent selectivity against a panel of 468 kinases at a concentration of 10 uM, only 4 has >90% inhibition; induces a dose-dependent inhibition of S727-STAT1 phosphorylation in HepG2 cells (at 5 uM). |
