Use of ST 045849OGT-IN-2 is a O-GlcNAc transferase (OGT) inhibitor with an IC50 of 53 μM. OGT-IN-2 reduces proliferation and viability of prostate cancer cells in vitro. OGT-IN-2 depletes intracellular alanine and decreases glucose consumption by cancer cells. OGT-IN-2 decreases markers of ER stress and apoptosis in pregnant diabetic mice and reduces neural tube defects in embryos from diabetic mice. |
