国外用作油田注入水的杀菌剂,以抑制注入水中的细菌生长,防止细菌在地层造成腐蚀及堵塞等问题。丙烯醛是重要的有机合成中间体,可用于制造蛋氨酸(饲料添加剂)。丙烯醛经还原生成的烯丙醇用作生产甘油的原料;经氧化生成丙烯酸,可进一步制丙烯酸酯用于丙烯酸酯涂料。丙烯醛的二聚体可用于制二醛类化合物,广泛用作造纸、鞣革和纺织助剂。丙烯醛是戊二醛、1,2,6-己三醇及交联剂等的原料,还用于胶体锇、钌、铑的制造。丙烯醛与溴作用可得到2,3-二溴丙醛。2.3-二溴丙醛是医药中间体,用来生产抗肿瘤药甲胺蝶呤等。

丙烯醛制备

【方法一】
实验室制法 将甘油与硫酸氢钾或硫酸镁,硼酸,三氧化铝在215~235 ℃共热,将反应生成的丙烯醛气体蒸出并经冷凝收集,得粗品。将粗品加10%磷酸氢钠溶液调pH值至6,进行分馏,收集50~75 ℃馏分,即得丙烯醛精品。

投料比(mol):甘油︰硫酸氢钾︰硫酸钾=1︰0.5︰0.026。
工业制法 目前工业上主要采用丙烯催化空气氧化法。
将丙烯、空气和水蒸气按一定比例混合后与催化剂一起送入固定床反应器,在0.1~0.2 MPa、350~450 ℃下进行反应,接触时间0.8 s,反应释放的热量回收用以蒸汽的生产。反应生成的气体混合物用水急冷,从急冷塔出来的尾气放空前经过洗涤。从急冷塔塔底出来的有机液进汽提塔,汽提出丙烯醛和其他轻组分,然后用蒸馏法从粗丙烯醛中除去水和乙醛。反应式:

投料比(mol)丙烯︰空气︰水蒸气=1︰10︰2。
【方法二】
1.丙烯催化空气氧化法 于反应温度310-470℃、常压的条件下将丙烯在钼酸鉍及磷钼酸鉍系催化剂存在下与空气进行直接氧化,从生成的反应产物中除去副产的酸后,再经蒸馏,即得成品。2.甘油脱水法 将甘油与硫酸氢钾或硫酸钾、硼酸、三氯化铝在温度215-235℃下共热制得。3.甲醛--乙醛法 在以硅酸钠浸渍过的硅胶催化作用下,由甲醛和乙醛气相缩合制得。
