1.天然品存在于米糠、胚芽、酵母及豆类等中，可由米糠或酵母水解后提取得到。合成法方法甚多。可由4-氨基-2-甲基-5-乙酰氨甲基嘧啶经水解、加成缩合、环合水解、氧化、置换等步骤制得。

2.可由4-氨基-2-甲基-5-乙酰氨甲基嘧啶经水解、加成缩合、环合水解、氧化、置换等步骤制得。天然品存在于米糠、胚芽、酵母及豆类等中，可由米糠或酵母水解后提取得到。

3.维生素B1自然存在于米糠、麸皮、花生米、瘦肉等食物中。通常由过量的盐酸乙脒与α-二甲氧基-β-甲氧基丙腈经缩合、水解、缩合、中和、氧化、酸化得硫胺盐酸盐。
