由间苯二酚与乙酰乙酸乙酯经环合反应而得。将浓硫酸冷至10℃以下,于搅拌下滴加由间苯二酚与乙酰乙酸乙酯配成的溶液,滴完后放置12h。然后将反应物投入有碎冰的水中,将析出的沉淀滤出,用稀氢氧化钠溶液及稀硫酸精制而得成品。
