[Drug classification] This class of drugs has two varieties of lincomycin and its semi-synthetic derivative clindamycin. [Mechanism] Lincomycin mainly acts on the 50s subunit of bacterial ribosomes, inhibits the elongation of peptide chains, interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, and is a growth inhibitor. The antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of erythromycin. The antibacterial spectrum mainly includes: 1 Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus (including penicillin-resistant strain), Streptococcus, Diphtheria, and Bacillus anthracis. 2 Anaerobic bacteria include Bacteroides fragilis, Fusobacterium, Peptococcus, Streptococcus mutans, Clostridium perfringens and the like. 3 Gram-negative aerobic bacteria such as Haemophilus influenzae, Neisseria and Mycoplasma are resistant to this class. Bacteria have complete cross-resistance between lincomycin and clindamycin, and some cross-resistance with erythromycin. [Clinical application] This class of drugs is mainly used for various infections caused by anaerobic bacteria and Gram-positive cocci, such as pneumonia, endocarditis, cellulitis, erysipelas, urinary tract infections, etc., especially for anaerobic The preferred treatment for infections caused by bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus osteomyelitis.
